RHYTHM RIOT (out in 2025)
Italian-based German pianist and composer Christian Pabst releases his sixth album as a bandleader: Rhythm Riot. With the Jazz-Echo recipient André Nendza from Germany on double bass and one of the most sought-after drummers of the Dutch jazz scene, Erik Kooger, Pabst presents a European piano trio of the highest order. Original music that goes under your skin, carried by a telepathic interplay of a group that has been playing together internationally for many years. Through the big dynamic range, this trio creates everything from explosive energy until meditative tranquility.
